ANDRE 'ONDI' MARSAUS
Ondi, often referred to as ‘the surfing Wiki’, and known for his passion for retro boards, writes for Smorgasboarder magazine and has been featured in numerous publications.
A Noosa local since the late 80’s, Ondi created thousands of exquisite meals as Executive Chef of high-end restaurants, leaving for short periods of time throughout the years to open restaurants in Melbourne and Tasmania, cook for the likes of ex Prime Minister’s, dignitaries and members of the royal family at the Melbourne Club, and hire out his palette to Moet and Chandon. Ondi was also appointed to represent the Italian Guild of Cooks, we suspect one of the only non-Italian chefs chosen for the honour.
A true professional at anything he turns his hand to, Ondi’s sporting achievements include motorcross racing and racing and managing in the Australian Super Bike Series; racing Grand Prix machinery, super bikes and super sport.
MAREE O'CONNOR
Ondi’s partner Maree O’Connor joins him as co-founder of Underground. No stranger to building popular businesses, Maree opened her own advertising agency at the age of 26, selling it 8 years later and moving to Queensland.
Maree has sat as a Director on various state, national and international Boards and has been awarded a number of Certificates of Appreciation from the likes of the ACT Chief of Police.
She was anonymously nominated and accepted for inclusion in the Who’s Who of Women in Australia publication and later the Who’s Who of Women in the World.
